Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

FinHealth ID: Your Personal Finance Guide ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines how we handle your information, emphasizing our educational-only purpose.

1. Information We Collect & How We Use It

To provide personalized financial health insights, we collect basic, non-sensitive information you provide directly:

  • Profile Information: Age range, employment status, city of residence, and monthly income range. This helps contextualize generic financial principles.
  • Financial Habits: Your self-reported savings frequency, debt status, and budgeting habits. This is the core data for generating your Financial Health Assessment.
  • Assessment History: Your past assessment results are stored locally to help you track progress over time.
  • Content Interaction: Articles you save or like within the "Learn" section to personalize your learning feed.

We explicitly DO NOT collect: Bank account details, credit card numbers, transaction histories, credit scores, or any other sensitive financial data. Our tool operates purely on the information you consciously choose to share.

2. Data Usage: Solely for Personalized Education

Your data serves one primary purpose: to power our educational engine. It allows us to:

  • Generate your unique Financial Health Score (e.g., "Needs Attention," "Good").
  • Deliver tailored improvement suggestions and educational article recommendations.
  • Simulate potential outcomes of different financial habits for illustrative learning purposes only*.

There is zero data sharing with lenders, financial institutions, or third parties for marketing loans, credit, or financial products. We have no affiliation with any entity offering "credit," "loans," or "approval."

3. Data Storage & Security

Your assessment data is stored securely on your device. Account information (phone number for login) is encrypted. We implement measures to safeguard your data but remind users to maintain device security.

4. Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) Framework

Our App Store listing will clearly indicate that we do not track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising or analytics. The "Ask App Not to Track" prompt will reflect this. Any analytics used are aggregated and anonymized, focusing solely on app functionality and crash reporting to improve user experience, not for profiling.

5. Clear & Non-Negotiable Disclaimer

This tool is for financial health EDUCATION only, NOT financial advice. The assessments, scores, and suggestions are simulated guides based on general principles and your inputs. They are not a substitute for professional financial planning. We do not guarantee specific financial outcomes.

6. Your Rights & Choices

You can review your inputs within the app. You may delete your assessment history or cancel your account entirely via the "Account" section, which permanently removes your associated data.
